Slow Food invites you to embark on a transformative journey through an online training program, “Feed the Change – How to Nourish Europe’s Future.”

In a world where the quality, sustainability, and fairness of our food systems are paramount, understanding how to advocate for change is crucial. “Feed the Change” empowers participants to grasp the essence of good, clean, and fair food while exploring actionable steps toward enhancing our food systems through political engagement.

This training will deepen your understanding of what Slow Food means by agroecology and how we can improve existing food systems through our actions, including political engagement. As this year marks the moment when all EU citizens are called to vote for their representatives, let’s come together to discuss our demands for a better future in Europe and beyond.

Who is the training for

This training program is designed for citizens of the European Union who are called upon to cast their votes during the elections from June 6th to 10th. Whether you’re a member of Slow Food or not, if you are passionate about food sustainability, eager to understand and influence the future of Europe, this course is tailor-made for you. Join us for an engaging and informative experience that will enable you to actively contribute to shaping the destiny of our food systems.

What to Expect

Structured around three Slow Food key pillars – Advocacy, Education, and Biodiversity – our program offers an immersive learning experience:

Advocacy: Dive into Slow Food's advocacy strategies, contextualize the EU elections, explore advocacy tools, and discover practical approaches to driving change at the local level.

Education: Unlock Slow Food's educational methodologies, equip yourself with tools and case studies to apply in your work, and learn how to cultivate critical thinking among young consumers and citizens, advocating for enhanced food education in schools.

Biodiversity: Explore the principles of agroecology, hear inspiring testimonials from the field, and join the call to action for a more agroecological future in the EU.
